So let's start this with a question for you all.(Please do note I am not pointing out anyone in particular but talking for a majority of Men out there based on incidents I have usually encountered with people I meet,be it a househelp or a highly educated women.The scenario remains the same in both the cases,the trauma sometimes)
Are you a boy??
Just close your eyes and ask this one question to yourself,have I accepted the other family(wife's family) as mine??
Am I being devoted to them as my own parents??
Generally a men expects a women to come to his family, accept everyone as to who they are,how they are but change herself according to them.
Live with them leaving behind her family and doing things for them, leaving behind her dreams /passion everything.
Adjust in the environment forgetting off what and how she lived.
Have you ever thought of leaving your parents behind for the women in your life??
Doing the sacrifices that she did for you??like
1. Seeking for permission to visit /meet her own parents who raised her.
2. Seeking everyone's permission to be accepted as a family member of her husband's side.
3. Doing all the household chores yet being judged for not earning money.
4 .Cooking and feeding everyone yet being questioned for what does she do for whole day.
5. Taking care of children,So to summarise no matter what or how much a women does for you,For you it is always something negligible.
6. If she's earning,why isn't she giving her proper time at home.
7. If she's a stay at home mom or women,who is managing your home, family, everything,she's being questioned for not going out to earn
When she wants you to go to her home,to stay or meet her parents,you don't wanna do that because they are not your parents.
Also she's expected just to take care of her new home but at the cost of forgetting everyone of her own family,her parents who raised her and her siblings who have been with her through thick and thin of life .
Now is that a good thing??
Are you doing justice to yourself with such sinful deeds??
I mean is it that a women is to be questioned and do compromise everytime??
